STREET PHOTOGRAPHY

Street          :

a thoroughfare especially in a city, town, or village that is wider than an alley or lane; usually includes sidewalks

noun

the skill, art or process of producing images by the action of radiant energy; especially light on a sensitive surface

shows a pure vision of something, like holding up a mirror to society.   Street photography often tends to be ironic and can be distanced from its subject matter and often concentrates on a single human moment, caught at a decisive or poignant moment.   Some of my street photography takes the opposite approach by providing a literal and very personal rendering of the subject matter with the intent of providing the viewer a more visceral experience of life they might only be passingly familiar with.
